Let us suppose that a faction hates me. Ships from that faction seem to attack me on sight. WHY can they shoot me without getting any Status change to "Wanted" while I can not return fire for fear of being becoming immediately wanted myself? I have even led the enemy in their chase through a flight of 3 Security eagles, the perps shooting me freely, without a single change in status for the attacker. This can be a very disappointing way to end a visit to a RES. |

Is this something that has been noted for fix? Is there a required game mechanic that I am not familiar with that explains this strange situation. The system seems to react properly, if perhaps not always promptly, to similar situations involving NPC on NPC attacks. This is a powerful immersion killer in the game.
