Since its appearance in T Tauri on April 17, 3303, Taurus Mining Ventures (as it was originally known) largely kept out of the public eye. In 3307, however, it was revealed that the corporation had been used by the mysterious [[Salvation]] to act as an intermediary between him and the various pilots who had chosen to assist him in his investigation of [[Azimuth Biochemicals]] as well as his anti-[[Thargoid]] operations. The [[Pilots Federation]] had cautioned pilots from associating with Taurus Mining Ventures due to its ties to Salvation and the possibility that both entities may be engaged in criminal activities. In November 3307, the corporation's headquarters came under justified attack by [[Aegis]] forces led by Admiral [[Aden Tanner]], who had strong suspicions that Hind Mine concealed hard proof that Salvation's work was recklessly provoking the Thargoids. Later additional evidence supported that Azimuth and Salvation's criminal network also led to the destruction of the Aegis mega ship [[Alexandria]]. | Since its appearance in T Tauri on April 17, 3303, Taurus Mining Ventures (as it was originally known) largely kept out of the public eye.
