*The Operations Multi Limpet Controller is one of five Multi Limpet Controllers added in ''[[Elite Dangerous: Odyssey]]'' Update 9. It can be purchased by both ''Odyssey'' and ''[[Elite Dangerous: Horizons]]'' owners.<ref>[https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/elite-dangerous-odyssey-update-9-notes.595180/ Frontier Forums: Elite Dangerous: Odyssey | Update 9 Notes]</ref><ref>[https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/elite-dangerous-horizons-only-pc-console-update-09-12-2021-notes.595181/ Frontier Forums: Elite Dangerous: Horizons Only PC & Console Update 09/12/2021 Notes]</ref>
*Because the Operations Multi Limpet Controller allows four limpets to be active at once regardless of type, it can serve as a sidegrade to the stardard Recon Limpet Controller that hacks slightly more slowly but can hack multiple points at once, whereas Recon Limpet Controllers regardless of size can only have one limpet active at a time.
*The mass of the module was significantly reduced in ''Odyssey'' Update 9.02.<ref>[https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/elite-dangerous-horizons-odyssey-update-16-12-2021-notes.595955/ Frontier Forums: Elite Dangerous: Horizons & Odyssey Update 16/12/2021 Notes]</ref>
