In addition to increased Thargoid aggression, this led to the deployment of several [[Thargoid Titan|Titans]] within human inhabited space, acting as beachheads for a full-on invasion. While the initial onslaught was devastating, human forces (through ever increasing organization and new technology provided by [[engineers]] and [[Aegis]]) eventually halted the Thargoid advance and slowly began pushing back.
