| The commodities market is the place where you buy and sell goods for trade. It's accessible through the Starport Services menu in any starport. The commodities market does not accept any [[Stolen Goods|stolen]] and/or illegal goods - these must be sold on the [[Black Market]].

| Goods which are available on the commodities market varies greatly from starport to starport. Depending on the economy of the system where the starport is based, you will find goods which are plentiful on some markets but not on others. You may also find goods which are produced in vast amounts in one system may even be illegal in other jurisdictions.

| The commodities market allows you to trade in many types of goods, including; chemicals, consumer items, drugs, foods, industrial materials, medicines, metals, minerals, technology, waste, and much more! Fortunes are spent daily on these markets and fortunes are also gained and lost through trading on them. It's wise to check the prices of goods you wish to trade in at every starport you visit so you can compare with other starports and work out which are the best deals. The prices of goods on some markets can change dramatically, due to circumstances in and around the system where the starport is based.
