Use this template for the markup of text written in [[Chữ Nôm|Nôm]], a Chinese-style script formerly used to write Vietnamese.

The template will mark the language as <code>vi-Hani</code>. It will use one of the following fonts instead of the browser's default font, if installed: Han-Nom Gothic, Nom Na Tong, Han-Nom Ming, Han-Nom Minh, HAN NOM A, HAN NOM B, Han-Nom Kai, TH-Khaai-TP0, TH-Khaai-TP2, TH-Khaai-PP0, TH-Khaai-PP2, TH-Sung-PP0, TH-Sung-PP2, TH-Sung-TP0, TH-Sung-TP2, TH-Sy-P0, TH-Sy-P2, TH-Ming-JP0, TH-Ming-JP2, Sun-ExtA, Sun-ExtB, Ming-Lt-HKSCS-UNI-H, Ming-Lt-HKSCS-ExtB, HanaMinA, HanaMinB, HanaMin, MingLiU, MingLiU-ExtB, MingLiU HKSCS, MingLiU HKSCS-ExtB, SimSun, SimSun-ExtB, FZKaiT-Extended, or FZKaiT-Extended(SIP).

For the rare characters of the [[Unicode]] blocks [[CJK Unified Ideographs Extension C]] (U+2A700 through U+2B734) and [[CJK Unified Ideographs Extension D]] (U+2B740 through U+2B81F) use the template {{Template link expanded|Vi-nom-CJK-C-D}} to fix certain display problems.

Use this template together with the {{Template link expanded|Contains special characters|Vietnamese}} template.
