For some reason I can't figure out, my short range composition scanner does not work yet is not damaged in my Python. It is not removeable and not upgradeable. It shows up in my modules list panel and displays [*] ACTIVE in solid red and is not accessable to turn off or repair. It shows up in my HUD because it has a trigger assignment but it does not function and is displayed in all red. I'm in a dilemma. Any thoughts on this anyone?
