In response to "Trading profit has absolutely nothing to do with it. I have a trading profit of 161 thousand and I've just hit broker." The statistics pages does not track mission rewards. What is occuring is that trading profit, smuggling profit, and trading/smuggling mission rewards all contribute to rank progress, but the statistics page only tracks trading profit and smuggling profit. If it tracked mission rewards too you would see that your combined total of trading profit, smuggling profit, and mission rewards would be about equal with that of someone of the same rank progress who undertook no missions and solely ranked up based on trading profit.
