Muli-crew is so pointless. 1) AI will handle gunnery in the future, it already does on the more advanced ships. 2) No one will sit there and be the "radar" person or the "shields" person - especially since shields are all or nothing around the whole ship. Redirecting PIPs? Yeah, sounds fun. No. 3) There's nothing else to do now.

How about investing the time for something so frivillous it shouldn't be done until nothing else can be developed into better instancing so wings work together better and also a way for ships that need escorts or assistance to recieve that through a broadcast network so all ships within 2 or so jumps can respond to assistance, for credits in return, and jump to the location of the fight. Yeah, that is so much better than the waste of effort for multi-crew.
