I agree with OP. I added stuff to the thrusters page about retros, lateral, vectored thrust and dorsal/ventral thrusters because the interplay between them all makes an enormous difference to the capabilities of any ship. Just slapping a manouverability number on a ship not only explains little about what it can do, it also can be pretty wrong. FG has a manoeverability of 1 - less than a Python - but will generally out-turn one every time.

The situation reminds me of the initial release of E:D where damage for each weapon was given a damage ranking which told you absolutely nothing about its real capabilities.
