They will grab everything around you, even your freshly abandoned cargo. It keeps coming back! They are still a bit buggy. They will circle around flying minerals, close the cargo door, fly into your mining laser, crash into your ship, and can have a very short lifespan. It is still better to have them than mine the old fashioned way. In my opinion, this should not have to use ammo that is stored in your inventory.
