Imperial slaves are NOT indentured servants. There is also no comparison to 9-5 workers, at all.

The lore is very clear: Imperial slaves are slaves. They are chattel to be bought, sold, and exploited. They have a limited amount of legal protection, similar to Rome, which seperates them from “illegal” slavery. But there is no “free will” involved here.

It is a BAD thing and trying to suggest otherwise is extremely misleading.

Debt slavery is a seperate matter and is likely a small minority of the overall slave population, as it was in Rome.

Please provide in-game or Fdev-endorsed references to any statement on the contrary.
