New page

so i had a thought about frame shift, in relation to the apparent "sizes" or masses of objects. you know how for a fly or hummingbird, time would seem to pass extremely quickly for them, while for large animals and constructs such as planets, time is almost massively slow? i think thats what the frame shift is supposed to mean.

this is also comparable to some other talk i remember reading about localized FTL being like "you travel at the same speed but everything around you is sped up in time, so coming back means you're thousands of years into the future." except, it's not. you're just going back in space with nothing fancy added. spacetime goes out, spacetime comes back in, relative to a certain point in the universe.
