There is no point in scanning Icy planets. Even in real life there is no point in finding icy planets outside our solar system. I only find bodies that would be useful in life like Earth-likes, Main system stars, and for planets that will be useful in the future of this game like metal-rich planets, as well as interesting things like black holes.

Anyway, your view of what is fun does not mean that that is the definition of fun for everyone in the entirety of Elite. If people like playing the grinding game then that is their version of fun. I'm not going to smack talk them like you, because I know my opinions are mostly mine alone.
