I especially love how you completely miss that Aisling and Felicia's goals are essentially the same: Lifting up the most downtrodden members of society and ending oppression by the wealthy elite.

You talk about how the Federation is "corrupt and corporate" but then mention you want to join the Empire, in which almost nothing is illegal and Senators are literally above the law and can kill people at will with no consequences unless the Emperor personally objects to it. "Needs a check a balance system" doesn't even begin to cover it. They're an archaic society in space.

Of course, given how loony tunes you entire idea of politics and national values is, I guess I'm not surprised by any of it.
