For easy docking, 1) target the station 2) manouvre your ship so that the 'slot' on the hologram is on the top (so it looks like a money box) 3) use yaw to point your ship towards the station and thrust upwards until you are above the station 4) request docking 5) watching your indicators, fly straight until the solid white dot in the target reticule turns hollow (ie. the target has just passed underneath you) 6) Use turn to face the station and the entrance will be straight in front of you.
