But you are right of course, the DBX and AspX are very similar in most abilities. Where the Asp is specifically better is having a size 5 or 6 fuel scoop, and the extra slot over the DBX. This allows it to take an extra module, so dual AFMs for extreme exploration missions are an option.

With the upcoming Guardian FSD booter the jump range will become equal with the DBX (size 5 in the AspX vs. size 4 in the DBX), and that's without having to sacrifice a module to fit the booster.

I've owned and used the DBX since early in my play, and still use it regularly since it its cheap to ship transfer around and has great jump range. I recently bought an AspX but basically just use it to engineer modules that can't fit in the DBX.
