New page

I have never understood the problem of crashing into stars. You just need to be aware and pay attention when dropping from hyperspace and manouver your way out fo the star heat and gravity direct influence. Then reposicion yourself for a safe fuel scooping and off you go, never fuel scoop pointing your ship at the star, always by flank or in escape position, so if the heat reach over your 80% just throttle and get away. The Anaconda is great for exploration because it has a huge jump range, the only issue of the conda is the initial price tag and then the money to keep it running, specially the integrity repairs after a long trip can make you lose profit. The ASP is cheaper and you can get it ready for a long trip for a fraction the cost of the conda and do exactly the same. Going in the Anaconda is just for ego purposes, which is entirely fine.

The danger of neutron stars is the impossible heat and no size, so you have to manually decrease your speed near it before the scan starts its analisis; just play safe and approach it slowly.

I think the biggest worry or danger while exploring is the tedium after 50 jumps, you get lazy and start cutting corners and BAM accident, heat damage or dropping at high speed and damaging your ship... with canopy breach.
