STORY TIME

My friend and I were in a wing and going bounty hunting. I was in a Cobra and he was in a stock sidewinder. We are flying around looking for bouties when he gets interdicted by an Anaconda (with no shields for some reason).

I drop out to try to help him escape (like we had a chance), when as soon as I drop out he just says: "Stand back, I got this".

Amused, I did so to see what would happen.

This guy had somehow managed to glue himself to the back of the Anaconda and was folowing the ships every move as it tried to turn into him (like in Star Wars when the Falcon hides behind the Star Destroyer) and was slowly picking him apart with his pea shooters.

Somehow in doing this (it took around 20 minutes) he managed to get it down to 20%, at which time it tried to flee, which is when my guns picked him off as he esacped.

And that's the story of how a humble Sidewinder nearly took down the mighty Anaconda.
