New page

Titan is the largest moon of Saturn. It's the second largest in Sol and bigger than Mercury. Its equatorial diameter is 5,150 km, and it orbits 1,221,865 km away from Saturn.

It has the most atmosphere of any moon in Sol. The atmosphere is too cold and poisonous for humans with a temperature of 93.7 K (−179.5 °C).

There's lakes and liquid on the surface, rain, storms and seasons. The lakes are filled with hydrocarbon (methane) instead of liquid water. The rocks are made out of ice. These are prerequisites for the development of hydrocarbon based life. Active cryovulcanism could support the formation of complex organic molecules.
