It is separate from a database backup and does not include uploaded media binaries.<br /> <br /> == Export pages ==<br /> Open [[Special:Export]], enter the required page titles and read the available options. A current-only export and an export containing earlier revisions serve different purposes. Check what the resulting XML actually contains rather than assuming that every revision was included.<br /> <br /> == Keep dependencies and files in view ==<br /> An article may depend on templates, Lua modules, categories and files. An XML page export does not by itself prove that those dependencies or file binaries have transferred.
