==Usage==
The '''{{tl|WikiProject Video games}}''' project banner template should be added (''not'' [[Wikipedia:Substitution|subst:ed]]) to the '''talk page''' of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. All pages should include '''class''' and '''importance''', when possible. These parameters will put the page into the appropriate subcategory in [[:Category:WikiProject Video games|WikiProject Video games]].

==Syntax==
{| class="wikitable floatright"
|+ Shortened version
|-
|<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext" style="font-size:90%">{{WikiProject Video games
|class =
|importance =
|cover =
|screenshot =
