== Parameters ==
* The optional positional parameter
1
is used to add an [[Template:Efn|explanatory footnote]] on the side of "Non-album single". The explanatory footnote would not be added if the parameter is not used. Note that
<nowiki>{{notelist}}</nowiki>
would need to be added to the page in order to use the parameter, unless the
uppercase
parameter is set to
yes
, in which case
<nowiki>{{notelist-ua}}</nowiki>
should be used instead. If the footnote contains the = character, numbered parameters should be used, e.g.
<nowiki>{{Non-album single|1=The track was included in the tour edition of [[= (album)|=]].}}</nowiki>

* The optional parameter
uppercase
will only work if the positional parameter
1
is used, and accepts the values
yes
and
no
. It will make the explanatory footnote have an uppercase label rather than a lowercase one if set to
yes
, and if not specified defaults to
no
.
