If youre an experienced trader using Type-7 or Type-9, pirates are not so bad (expect its an anaconda or other big multi-purpose), they dont ruin you, you can just tell them "ill drop as much cargo as your hold fits, and you let me go". This only makes trading more interesting and less no-life grind.
