Im currently doing the the rank up for this, and as i just returned after a while i was a complete noob. So here is the complete noob guide!

The route : Ngalin System, Hickam Survey - Mainani System, Mies van der Rohe's Claim (dec. 23 2018)

Requirements: Other then a small/medium ship, nothing really. The jump distance between systems is less then 4 ly, so pretty much any ship can do it. You need to be able to get there tho, and you will get interdictions, so grab a ship that can get there (using fuel scoop or refueling) which you can easily get out of an interdiction. Im using my ASP X, but anything will do really.

Getting XP :  Go to the mission board, sort for transport only and you will find Strategic Data Transfer and Courrier Job Availible missions. Look for the destination (which shouold be the other system) and take as many as you can. If they dont have any missions left, log out and join a friends session or go into solo. They should respawn. Do this till you have 16-20. Go to the other system and use the mission board to turn them in. Grab rewards with the highest reputation. I seem to get a lot more missions in

Rank up : On the mission board, when you reach your rank up, you will find a few missions with the words "Imperial Navy" in them. They are marked with a chain looking thingy. Those are your rank up missions. Do not take the first one availible, but wait till you find a Courrier or Data mission. Those are faster and easier. If they dont spawn, dont fret, just leave and loook again at the next system.

Time requirement: While i see people saying it takes them 2 hours, i think thats a bit low. I havent timed it myself, but it felt like more. Expect to get around 1 rank every 2 round trips (more or less).
