I played Elite on a Apple IIE, my son on my lap, 2 yrs at the time.  I discovered Elite Dangerous reading an article online and forwarded the link to my son, now 30+ years old.  Next day a XBOX1 and with Elite Dangerous arrived via Amazon, compliments of Commander Exema.  We now fly again together, he in a Anaconda, I prefer the Python.  Great then, greater now.
