This is the true do it all ship. Going from a DB Explorer to an ASP Explorer was the worst experience. The ASP Exp is so much larger it's a giant whale of a paper target. Even though the ASp Exp is better on paper in almost everyway, if you want to do any bounty hunting, or defend yourself the DB Explorer is superior.

I can regularly take on Vultures and Clippers. The profile of the DB Explorer means it's much harder to hit, while the ASP Explorer is so wide, its hard to miss.

If you want to focus on only smuggling, the ASP Exp might make sense. But to truly do a bit of everything, the DB Exp is where it's at.
