Colors of plants would be based on the wavelength of light they get from their star, in order to collect as much light for photosynthesis as possible. Basically, this means that whatever color light the planet recieves, the plant life there will have evolved to possess as close to the opposite color on their leaf-like structures as possible.
Hence, red light=blue leaves, yellow light=blue leaves, blue light=red leaves and so on.
