Tried everything I could find out. +650 burst builds. Went back and forth so many times into the engineers, getting materials, scanning shit for the datas, engineering my iEagle to be lighter and faster. Guns to sustain dps for longer. So many combinations of FAoff + boost turns + vertical thrusters. Everything I do to this ship looks great untill that one momment when npcs start pulling the boost + axis turn + facetank all my attempts to get on its tail. Boost turn, it's facing me. boost turn twice or three times on a row, the damn Viper mk3/FAS is still face tanking me.
Got a Fully engineered Imperial Clipper that can destroy almost every ship in the game by ramming them with shields on pips and spamming fragment cannons at "melee" range. The thing is... I love the Eagle's design. But I give up. I don't want your god damn Cutter, Carrier, Anaconda nor a bunch of ships that don't compare with the Eagle's lines.
Large ships get all sorts of status boosts with Engineers, they simply gain everything without loss. The Eagles... get to trade dmg and hull for speed at best.
All That said... Fuck you Frontier Development.
