If your planning to do exploring or long range missions, absolutely. I have a 6b on mine (only because I was in a rush and didn't have a 6a at my current station) with a grade 4 modded class 5a shield generator. I still have 500 mj's of shields and scooping doesn't take any time at all. It's definately worth it.
