you ignore the fact many ships will spam chaff, rendering the gimball functionality null, and while some fighters are indeed super deadly in the right hands, you will oftend have a hard time finding competent pilots to fill in those seats, you can argue, sure an AI elite co-pilot can be incredibly good, but theres always the odd chance you encounter wings with more than one FAS or any other alliance hull tanker in droves that will get rid of it as soon as its launched, forcing you to wait for the long long cooldown before you are able to relaunch, working with gimped DPS due to lower # of effective hardpoints
