The Order was founded by CMDR Karla, aka "High Priestess."
== About the Order of Enblackenment ==
Established by explorers from the [[Distant Worlds Expedition]] touched by space madness, their ethos requires that they "seek communion with the Void through peace and reason."<ref>https://inara.cz/wing/1143/</ref> They also seek to accelerate entropy to 'enblacken' the stars and reach the eternal night.

They worship the Void and seek to spread its word and knowledge throughout the galaxy. Those who embrace the Void and its teachings are known as the Children of the Void.

Of note, the Order of Enblackenment is one of only eleven, currently active player theocracies<ref>player group theocracy search on Eddb https://eddb.io/faction?g=160&i=1</ref>. Their home system also sells the rare commodity, [[Saxon Wine]] in Hunt Enterprise.
