{{Uses TemplateStyles|Template:Periodic table (32 columns, micro)/styles.css}}
This template shows the bare periodic table. For the box with title and caption, see {{tl|Periodic table (micro)}}

== Usage ==
:Usually inside another box ({{tl|infobox element}} and {{tl|periodic table (micro)}} stand-alone box}}

===Parameters===
<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">
|number=Z (when >=119, an extended PT is shown)
|name=element name (also article linkto)
|symbol=
|link=non-name article link (eg [[mercury (element)]])
|mark=List of elements to mark (highlight). List format: Au, Ag, Pt
</syntaxhighlight>

Example:
: {{Periodic table (32 columns, micro)/elementcell|category=alkali metal|number=3|name=Lithium|mark={{{mark|}}}|symbol=Li}}

<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">
{{Periodic table (32 columns, micro)/elementcell
|name=Lithium
|number=3
|symbol=Li
|mark=
}}
</syntaxhighlight>

===Marking elements===
Cells can be marked by entering a list of symbols: {{para|mark|Au, Ag, Hg}}.
*<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext" inline>Periodic table (32 columns, micro)|mark=Au, Ag, Hg}}</syntaxhighlight> →
{{Periodic table (32 columns, micro)|mark=Au, Ag, Hg}}

=== Extended periodic table ===
The template takes parameter {{code|1=number=}} (atomic number). When this number is >118, the template expands with periods 8 and above, adding the (predicted) elements with atomic number >119. Apart from this 118/119 switching, the parameter is ''not'' used as an atomic number.

*<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext" inline>{{Periodic table (32 columns, micro)|number=119}}</syntaxhighlight>
{{Periodic table (32 columns, micro)|number=119}}
