what I want at this point or after planetary horizons drop are a few ship variants specialising in ground support (large wide angle hard-points or a mass of small points below the ship), turret specialist (repositioned hard points to better take advantage of overlapping turrets but fixed mounts won't converge as well) and some fire support/munitions specialist ships (introduce an "ammo manufactory" internal module that can use scooped enemy/salvage/certain mined resources wreckage to re-arm the missiles, torpedoes, mines and other limited ammo weapons that badly need some love, though this one more part of a weapon revamp that I think the game will be badly in need of, the crafting system may or may not fox this)
