For anyone looking to build up Reputation Fast with any of the Big 3 look into Search and Rescue at any Station recently Attacked by Thargoids. (The Large RED icons on Galaxy Map). Try to find one allied to the Faction you Wish to build Rep with to increase chances of achieving exactly that; although you may find the other Factions there too. Simply fly into the damaged station, land ASAP! Pick up all the people you can for the desired faction; Filter by Rep Payout. Depart in Supercruise to Rescue Ship nearby - 5.00Mm. Unload, get paid in Rep. Repeat as much as you need. You'll still need to do the "chain" missions later to unlock you rank and even if the Rep meter is 100% all additional Rep is retained. So it is possible to do this method efficiently, quickly, at a short distance, and potentially earn all the Rep needed for Multiple Ranks later. I did exactly this plus a few data run " chain" missions for the rank to quickly earn my Sol Permit. This Method Works REALLY well and can be happily done in Open Play - (If you do, don't sit on deck, very limited landing pads.) I usually Name My Ship "Search and Rescue" and run unarmed, people give me the 07.

Primary Requirements:

Economy Passanger Space: The More the Better, but you must be comfortable flying a large ship in a chaotic space if you go big. Lot's f Debris and Heat.

Heatsinks: 2-6 Depending on your flying skill, especially if you intend to collect Escape Pods with Limpets.

That's really it. Unless you want to play pilot-hero and run Collector Limpets for Escape Pods, but bring more HeatSinks! Be Advised though, some items seem to get you a Fine? I'm not sure what I grabbed, but I stick to Escape Pods only if I do Limpets in them now. (You can repair and restock at Recue Friagte)

So I've made sure to read through this section multiple times, done a few searches but I am having trouble finding any clear information on deciphering the Number and Combinations of the little White Chevrons related to Frequency Tuning. I understand that when actively moving the view finder they can help zero in on the location of the signal, yet I can find little information on reading them.

What I am trying to understand is what the combinations of the White Chevrons tell us about the signal source itself. Does any one know of a well constructed legend or key for understanding them?

The only detail in relation to this that comes up over and over is that if the top row of Chevrons is spread out it means there are rings around the planetary body. But beyond that I can't seem to find any info on what the different combinations of Chevrons means, or how to read them any further. I am greatful for any help.

Bounties and Vouchers, that's it for Multicrew at this point in regards to pay.

You DO NOT share the pay for other jobs in Multicrew. Including Tourism, Mining, Trade.

They also DO NOT function as a CoPilot in any meaningful way. No Nav Assistance or Mod Repair, nothing. So Even if you had a friend that was willing to NOT get paid, they can't really help in any way.

You CANNOT share SRV's, even if you have 2 on your ship. Which means no shared surface Scanning/Mining or shared exploration. Also... the turret isn't a second seat.

RECAP: No shared Pay, No Copilot functions at all, No duel SRV use as/or Exploration.

If you are not doing Combat, there is literally NO reason to do MultiCrew at this point. If you are looking to make money in a form of Co-op, Wing Cargo Missions appear to be the best. Get 4 people, with equally large cargo space and use Inara to source your cargo. And lets all hope for more Multicrew depth in the future.

Agreed. At the least the Copilot should be able to help plot courses, run scanners, do synthesis support stuff. Even the little minigame idea for some way to work in occasional boost and rewards for ship function would be cool. I've been running Tourism and Search&Rescue at Damaged Stations... any one that joins is basically along for the ride and to chat with. lol.

Or the Double SRV thing! Yeah! WTF! I thought the whole point would be to like go out and explore together. Or one flys low and scans with the ship, and the other heads out in an SRV to mine resources or collect data! You know: CO-OP STUFF!

Also... recently while running Evac Missions out of Carpenter City (Damaged Station) in MultiCrew the game keeps hanging up when dropping out of Supercruise at the Attack Site. Just hangs up, keeps running, but no distance change, no drop out, no menus work: Have to close the game.
