The Dredger is a type of Bulk Cruiser Megaship. These are big capital ships that mainly operate in deep space and collect all sorts of materials from space dust to hydrogen to any sorts of wreckage they come across. These are returned to inhabited space for processing.
Raxxla is a legend that has been circulating among spacers in one form or another for centuries. While there is little consistency among the various tales about Raxxla, the earliest stories about it agree that Raxxla is a definite place that holds a mysterious secret. Every explorer sets out to find Raxxla at some point in their career, convinced that they have picked the thread of truth out of the sea of rumors, but if any have succeeded in their quest, they have held their silence. The equally legendary organization known as The Dark Wheel is said to be dedicated to finding Raxxla.

Legend
The earliest documented reference to Raxxla dates to 2296 and originates from an entry in the personal journal of Art Tornqvist, a shipboard mechanic based out of Tau Ceti. The entry does not describe Raxxla or its possible whereabouts, but its existence is evidence that the Raxxla legend was already in the public consciousness by that time.

Some versions of the Raxxla story, which were later shown to have a striking resemblance to the children's story "Princess Astrophel and the Spiralling Stars" and consequently became discredited, Raxxla holds an alien artefact called the Omphalos Rift, which acts as a gateway to parallel universes. Some staunch Raxxla seekers insist that the author of the children's story knew Raxxla's location and had deliberately woven clues into his book. Others claim that Raxxla is nothing more than an unremarkable moon, or even a state of cosmic enlightenment.

A number of conspiracy theories assert that Raxxla has already been discovered by either a sinister cabal or a lone individual who has harnessed Raxxla's power to become the shadow ruler of all of humanity.

Students and commentators of Raxxla lore have noted that the legend of Raxxla is unusually influential, often leading Raxxla-seekers to become singularly obsessed with it. This has been compared to the concept of "fernweh", which is experienced as an inexplicable longing for a place that an individual has never seen.

Notes
*Raxxla was first featured in the 1980 book The Alien World: A Complete Illustrated Guide written by Steven Eisler, under the pen name of Robert Holdstock. Holdstock published a novella called Elite: The Dark Wheel, which came packaged with the original Elite game, in 1984. In that novella, which is outside the canon of Elite Dangerous, Raxxla was described as a mythical planet which held an alien construct that served as a gateway to other universes. A corps of Elite-ranked pilots was suspected to have found Raxxla and exploited the gateway for their own selfish purposes, and hired assassins to eliminate any independent pilots and members of the Dark Wheel who tried to uncover Raxxla.
*Frontier Developments have historically refused to explicitly confirm or deny the existence of Raxxla, a possible location, or anything else about it, and continue to do so.
**In September 2015, Drew Wagar - one of the official writers for Elite Dangerous - stated "I spoke to David Braben directly in 2014 and he confirmed to me that 'It’s out there and we (FD) know where it is.' – So it does exist." Michael Brookes said “There will be no clues.”
*The alleged name of the artefact on Raxxla, the Omphalos Rift, is taken from Ancient Greek culture. In Ancient Greek, "omphalos" means "navel", or the center of a thing, and the Ancient Greeks believed that the sanctuary of Delphi was the center of the world. Intriguingly, when the Knowledge Base that contained the first mention of the Omphalos Rift was added to Elite Dangerous with update 3.3, the system Pleiades Sector IR-W d1-55, which was the headquarters of the anti-Thargoid organization Aegis, was also renamed Delphi.

The Vulture is a heavy space superiority fighter.

With its two large hardpoints, the Vulture sports superb fire power for its relatively small frame. Although it lacks top speed compared to other ships, its lateral thrusters put the ship among the most agile and manoeuvrable fighters, thus allowing for more powerful lateral slides and vertical hops.

The Vulture's main drawback is its limited power capacity given the two large hardpoints and the excessive amounts of utility mounts and internal compartments on offer, which can be counteracted to a degree by smart module priority control and sacrifices in the loadout choice.

The two large hardpoints are located above and behind the cockpit, about halfway down the hulk of the ship. They are well suited for any type of weapon mount — fixed, gimballed, or turreted — and capable of shooting at targets even slightly underneath the waterline of the hull. Merely fixed weapons may have slight issues with converging on smaller targets like Sidewinders, Eagles, or Haulers.

The PAGENAME, one of three freighters manufactured by Lakon Spaceways, is mainly used for trading and hauling commodities throughout the galaxy. This ship has a medium landing pad size and, unlike both of Lakon's larger trading vessels, may still dock at Outposts. Due to the poor armour and manoeuvrability is not suited for combat and it is advisable that traders avoid entering any combat situation without an escort or upgrading shields / hull.

When fitted for maximum cargo capacity, which can reach 112 tons, many traders find that the PAGENAME becomes quite suited for trading standard commodities in bulk rather than hauling rare commodities long distances. After upgrading the Frame Shift Drive to increase its jump range, the PAGENAME can be equally good at hauling commodities long distances.

The PAGENAME has also found a niche as an exploration vessel; when stripped of all unnecessary weight and stocked with an upgraded frame shift drive, the PAGENAME can reach jump ranges just short of the Asp Explorer at a much lower cost, though it is significantly less capable of defending itself should it encounter a hostile vessel, and is still quite a bit more expensive than the Cobra which can also be used for exploration.

Prior to v1.2, the Type-6 had a tendency to run hot - to 100% or greater - making fuel scooping and consecutive hyperspace jumps more risky unless an A-rated power plant was also used (reducing the average maximum heat to 95%). As of v1.2, this tendency has been corrected and the ship now runs much cooler, making it less likely that modules suffer heat damage.
Notes
* The Class 3 Shield Generator that comes equipped by default is suboptimal for the ship's weight and thus, while it will save on repair costs when bumping into objects, will not hold up very well against an attack. It is recommended to replace the default Class 3 Shield Generator with a Class 4 as doing so will greatly increase the shield's strength and will only reduce cargo capacity by 8 Tons.
