The '''Dolphin''' is the latest addition to [[Saud Kruger]]'s line of luxury passenger ships. It’s a small vessel with a very low starter price aimed at commanders wishing to embark upon a role of a tourist pilot. As the rest of the passenger liners, the Dolphin can fit all the necessary passenger suites ensuring maximum comfort for all on board.

With a very decent jump-range and a sleek design, the Dolphin will surely find its place among the ever-growing space tourism.

Note; a problem that you may come across when flying this ship is the lack of internal space for [[Passenger Cabin|Passenger Cabins]] when outfitted with a [[Fuel Scoop]] and a [[Shield Generator]].

This ship was released in update 2.3 "The Commanders". The ship might have heat management issues, especially while entering and exiting a hyperspace jump. This can be somewhat mitigated with higher grade power plants.

The Beluga does suffer though from a lack of outfitting space to fit a [[Fighter Hangar]] and a [[Fuel Scoop]] superior to a class 4 since it cannot fit a [[Shield Generator]] of this size and of the numerous [[Reserved Compartment|Reserved Compartments]].

Due to its high hull mass and lack of class 7 or above unreserved internal compartments, the Beluga is limited to fitting only Class 6 [[Shield Generator|Shield Generators]]. This makes it one of two ships that are unable to fit an optimized mass shield generator, the other being the [[Orca]].

Even if at first, it may seem as if the Beluga has more than enough space to fit all you need, its limtations when it comes to class 6 compartments make it so you rather fit a fighter hangar, or a dencent fuel scoop wich often leads to the conclusion of being one of the most left out ships when it comes to multi-crew.

Eventhough it has a decent amount of internal compartments for its size, the Dolphin lacks greatly of cabin space, if you wish to fit a shield, fuel scoop and a discovery scanner, it takes you down to 2 class 2 compartments and one class 5 wich makes it pretty hard to take more than 3 missions at the time.
