This ship is definitely not a lesser Gunship. This ship is the Alliance’s variant of the Dropship. Even though costing more than twice as much, this ship handles much better and is much more effective at bug squashing. The Alliance’s Gunship will be the Alliance Crusader, coming soon to a Lakon dealership near you!

If the Chieftain focused on Agility and speed and the Challenger focused on armor, the Crusader will probably fit in to a spot where it’s armor and agility are between the Challenger and Chieftain while packing even more of a punch than its two little brothers.

Looks like we will be getting the same or very similar hard points compared to the Chieftain. It will probably not have the speed of its little brother, but higher than the Challenger, and less armor than the Challenger, but higher than the Chieftain. I’m confident that this ship will boast better internals than its two counterparts. With great firepower, good armor, and great maneuverability, this ship will be excellent for human and big squashing needs alike.

If looks are your thing, I highly recommend this ship. It also has good firepower and incredible shielding and can serve as a light transport and deal with or avoid combat when necessary. I used this ship in the (not very well known) Nigalinn run and ranked up to Duke in less than a week.
