'''Yuri Grom''' is the leader of the independent faction known as the [[EG Union|EG Pilots]], which rose to galactic prominence following their victory in the Dangerous Games.

Now Yuri Grom is the first player-formed Power in Elite: Dangerous. His HQ is situated in Clayakarma system and his territory grows with each cycle. There are numerous players factions in this region of space and Grom has a good relationships with most of them. Some of them are willingly pledged to Yuri Grom and are helping him to turn his main slogan ''"Freedom Among the Stars" '' into reality.

* With the EG Pilots victorious in the Dangerous Games, Yuri Grom becomes the latest [[Powerplay|Power]] in the galaxy. Formerly an admiral in the [[Federation]], Grom left the faction and later came into conflict with them at Euryale. Members of the new Coalition are now settling legal niceties, but it is already obvious that their combined military power is going to become dominant in the Galaxy. * Yuri condemns piracy in all its forms, that's why his relationships with [[Archon Delaine]] and his [[Kumo Crew]] is precisely hostile.
* As a former Admiral of the Federal Fleet and citizen on the [[Federation]], Yuri Grom respects its citizens, but despise corrupted Federal governors and wire-pullers, which made Yuri start a war for the independence of [[Euryale]]. Political relationships with the [[Federation]] may be described as strained.
* Yuri Grom is positive towards the [[Empire]] and is in close cooperation with Imperial factions ([[Aisling Duval]], [[Arissa Lavigny-Duval]], [[Denton Patreus]], [[Zemina Torval]]). Presently a Treaty of alliance between Yuri Grom and the [[Empire]] is being worked on. This treaty has the potential to change the Galactic power landscape.

The '''Imperial Courier''' is a fast multipurpose ship just barely larger than the [[Sidewinder]]. It is the third-lightest-hulled playable ship (after the Sidewinder and [[Hauler]]) thus far but its upgrades are heavier.

The Imperial Courier is armed and very well [[shield]]ed for its small size, making it a great and evasive fighter in combat. In terms of agility it ranks somewhere close to the [[Viper MkIII]]. While it has a good pitch rotation speed, its slightly weaker vertical-lateral thrusters cause the Courier to drift more than the Viper. Even though the Courier has the same top boost speed as Viper, due to its low hull mass relative to modules, it is slightly slower and can't boost as often as the Viper, dropping down from the top speed faster.

The Imperial Courier's shields are much better than the [[Viper MkIII]]'s and [[Cobra MkIII]]'s, being almost on par with those on a [[Vulture]]. Unlike the Vulture, the Imperial Courier does not have as severe of power management issues, and is thus better able to equip [[Shield Booster|shield boosters]] and [[Shield Cell Bank]]s.

The weapon hardpoints are located in the following places: 1 medium hardpoint at the front of each engine nacelle, and 1 medium hardpoint underneath the nose.
