I've been to the one in Eagle Sector IR-W D1-105; it looks cool, especially on the inside, but as stated above, it has almost no facilities to speak of. At least I was able to repair and refuel there (was down to 60% hull during my trip after an unfortunate landing mishap). Also sold a few million CR worth of cartographic data there, so that was a plus.

Found two systems with settlements in the Eagle Nebula; one is located in Eagle Sector IR-W D1-105, and is an extraction/prison colony (the colony is inside an asteroid, which is pretty cool; first of those I've ever seen). The second is in Eagle Sector IR-W D1-117, and is a cooperative colony located on a planet. Neither settlement has a shipyard or outfitting facilities, and they have sparse commodities to trade with, but by the time you get there, you should have already collected millions of CR worth of cartographic data, so it won't be a total loss. Real pretty scenery, though! :-)
