What a bullshit way to force people to stay logged in and playing this game. Notoriety clock won't run down unless you;re logged in and playing. This is supposed to be FUN, not a COMPLETELY rela-life suckfest. That is why I play games to get AWAY from that daily kind of crap. Frontier Devs need to get a NEW drawing board, because this one sucks goat turds.

NOTE - I tried the suggestion of logging off and then back on afdter the timer SHOULD have expired on the notoriety, and guess what. Where the fines WERE still yellow and would let me click on them like they WERE allowing me to pay them off (but it STILL would not do so), they are now RED and my notoriety is STILL at 1.

I pre-bought this game before it was even released. I was so looking forward to it. Then I tried to play it with just a keyboad and mouse and damn near threw my computer out of the house.

I finally got to a point where I could afford the Thrustmaster HOTAS setup I wanted and purchased it. I have now officially played the game for 4W, 4D, 21H, 42Min, and I have HATED most of it because of how inconsist things work. All thje way from the system map taking forever to be accessible to Class 1 lasers being able to cut right through Class 7 shields and the flight dynamics that most certainly seem to work VERY differently for NCPs than it does for the real people playing the game.

I can honestly say that I have had my fill and am extremely disappointed with just how frickin HARD it is to do ANYTHING in this game that is FUN!! Paltry mission payouts, ridculously low bounties on high-level PVE pirates. Now Pirate hunting missions that literally require you to kill over a hundred PLUS pirates just to get a million or so credits? That takes HOURS, if not DAYS, and is seriously NOT worth the effort in the long run.

I'm done. Give me a copy of Evil Genius over this shit, because THAT'S a fun game.

I'll go you one ven better. I scanned and FSD Interdicted a WANTED pirate in Luyten's Star system. Once we dropped I immediataly deployed hardpoints and target the ship that I had ALREADY scanned in hyperspace. At my first shot the game then made ME wanted and gave me notoriety because I had not completley scanned the ship AFTER we had dropped even though he was shooting at ME!

Now I've been sitting in space dock in a different system for over four hours but STILL cannot pay off the fines that I got for shooting a fucking SCANNED pirate. This is bullshit.

FYI, I also want to beat the dev who programmed the SRV driving controls black and blue with his own damned keybaord. Anything over 8MPH and the damn things spins out of control at every little bump. What a frickin joke to try and drive around a planet and actually get anywhere in a timely manner...
