I don't know why the developers made an end-game trader ship? I always thought trading is a "tool" while combat is a "purpose". I trade because I need a lot of money. Why? Because I want a good combat ship. Why? Because combat is the "essence" of all space simulator games, the biggest fun in the game.

Is there any commander here, whose ultimate goal is the trading?

CMDR Berton, I agree with you, but don't forget, FDL is a dedicated combat ship, while T-9 is a dedicated trader ship. Nobody try to trade with FDL and nobody fly into a combat zone with Type-9. Cutter is a disappointment because many player wanted a good heavy or superheavy multipurpose ship. Multipurpose ships are "multipurpose" because they can transform into a good combat ship or to a good trader ship. Cutter is not a multipurpose ship, it's a dedicated trader ship because it has a very large cargo bay, but sucks in combat.
