Many player said this ship is a "glorius" trader but the Horizon patch seriously nerfed the "classic" space trade routes! Now you can make more money with shadow delivery missions, so the asp or the python is far better than this. Cutter sucks in combat, Cutter sucks is trading, Cutter is a garbage.

Dear Developers!

Imperial Cutter one of the best-looking ships in the game, but the bad manoeuvrability ruin the entire ship. Many imperial pilot are disappointed. Please change the ship parameters! We don't want 3000 MJ shield, we don't want 3000 armor. 1000-1100 MJ shield is more than enough in almost every combat situation. We just want to enjoy the space combats, just like our federal comrades. We do not understand the concept behind this ship. Imperial ships are fast, very agile ships with relatively weak shields.

Please increase the ship manoeuvrability up to the Corvette level and compensate this advantage with decreasing it's shield power and armor down to 500 MJ and 600 armor. You can also downgrade the A8 internals to A7.

Because I want a good combat ship. Why? Because combat is the "essence" of all space simulator games, the biggest fun in the game.

CMDR Berton, I agree with you, but don't forget, FDL is a dedicated combat ship, while T-9 is a dedicated trader ship. Nobody try to trade with FDL and nobody fly into a combat zone with Type-9. Cutter is a disappointment because many player wanted a good heavy or superheavy multipurpose ship. Multipurpose ships are "multipurpose" because they can transform into a good combat ship or to a good trader ship. Cutter is not a multipurpose ship, it's a dedicated trader ship because it has a very large cargo bay, but sucks in combat.

The Imperial Cutter is the biggest disappointment is Elite history. The ship design is good, hardpoints are ok, BUT the manoeuvrability ruin the entire ship. Even a D-rated Type-9 turn faster than this giant space debris. The ship prize is also a bad joke. Why should i pay 200.000.000 Cr for this shit? Why should i spend 800-900 million credit to outfit it? An average skilled Vulture pilot will beat the shit out of you in PvP fight. The Cutter maybe an excellent trader ship, but completely useless as a combat ship. Do not buy it! It's a waste of money.
