Reinforced prismatic is great... I run out of ammo before my shields are breached, so I need to stock up on ammo more often than I need to use SCBs. Just rely on engineered shield boosters for your resistances... you'll only be able to get about 60-70% before hitting diminishing returns, anyway.

In my experience this is the most troublesome NPC ship I ever face... not just because of the maneuverability, but because instead of flying around trying to dodge like the other ones does, this one uses its high turn rate to keep all of its fixed weapons trained right on you at all times, and relies on vectored thrusters to evade. It flies backwards a lot, like I do when using a cap ship, which is ideal for keeping fixed weapons focused on you.
