37.93LY "combat passenger" ASP. What a weird combination, I know. But that's what I ended up with after a handful of tweaks from Felicity, a 6C First Class cabin, a 5A Shield, and a 3A fuel scoop. Some pax don't like hull damage. It also has 2 medium gimbal beam lasers with a small (25%) damage boost from an engineer, 2 small railguns, and 2 small chainguns. There's also an advanced discover scanner and a detailed surface scanner, so I can explore some when I get there if I want to.

I don't think I would take this past 1,000LY, at 26 jumps best case scenario. There are ways to get rid of the combat stuff and extend the range some, but this is fine for in or near the bubble IMO. The thing really takes a beating when the shields go down. You do not have long to decide when to withdraw, or you get disabled, and maybe destroyed. It's a fickle beast, the ASP-E, but you can do so much with it. She's a good little ship.
