Damaged station rescue with a Beluga or Conda. Only be bothered about the rescue missions issued by the true Feds (watermarked guys, the other ones are just independents living inside a Fed system hence they give crap xp) and preferably only get rep+++ missions always choosing the rep+++ reward.

It's very easy to get Navy mission, just follow those tips:

-Go to a station with several real Fed factions (the ones with the Fed watermark next to their name). Those and those only offer the Navy missions for the rank ups per se.

-Make sure your current rank % is maxed at 100, the rank up mission will only spawn after it's capped.

-You have to have a good relationship with the watermarked Fed factions once most Navy missions can't be accepted unless you're friendly or allied to them.

-If all of the above is checked but there's still no Navy mission, just logout and go grab a cup of coffee or whatever your preference is. It's highly likely to be there next time you login back again!

Tbh Dav's sucks because most of the stuff you get is low lvl. That said, it's much more efficient to hunt for HGEs than trade for whatever you want. Just go to a Fed systems in boom with a big pop. Now that the mechanics have changes it's much easier to find them (simply scan the nav beacon and the HGE should pop up; if none is displayed just move to the next system). The other thing that make this method very efficient is that now HGEs are permanent - at least until the timer hits zero. However, that means you can log/relog multiple times and grind the same HGE over and over again. If you arrive at one with ~20 min left, you're highly likely to be able to farm all 100 g5 components you can store in your inventory from the same HGE so pretty efficient.<br />Also Orrere is terrible, the terrain is mountainous and you get stuck all the time. The conda at Koli Discii is a much better option, it spawn the same high grade raw mats just like Orrere but the area is flat so no constantly getting stuck - which equal to faster grind.<br />For data, Robigo is good for a few particular types. But overall I simply go to the Jameson's crashed Cobra (only g4-g5 data there) at HIP 12099 1B. Then as always just trade for whatever you may need.

Fed = composites
Boom = proto
As the system had both, the type of HGE was complitely rng just like the article says and I can confirm that because I got both types from the same system...

HIP 72221 6 A Ring has 6 or 7 painite hotspots and a few RES so it's awesome. Also it's a high security sistem which means pirates are less likely to attack you or if they do the federals will toast them in no time. Don't forget it's a very rara mineral so deep core mining is the way to go. Just got 16 tons from my first rock, that's more than what Selene asked me for so misson completed + profit in the same go :)
