to whoever said the cutter outguns the corvette and anaconda..... no it most certainly does not the corvette has 2 huge harpoints and a class 8 power distributor the cutter has 1 huge hardpoints which is useless due to lack of agility and a class 7 PD the corvette both out maneuvers and outguns the cutter its a trade ship the imps need a big combat ship too its just not fair that only the feds get that

im pretty sure it wont be any more expensive than the conda same price at most due to the conda bein a multipurpose ship which makes it alot more expensive than a ship that only does 1 thing yes the corvette will be better than conda at combat probably but that doesnt mean it will cost more lets use the cobra and viper as an example theyre pretty much equals in combat viper being more agile cobra having better powerplant but the cobra can also do exploration and trading which is why its so much more expensive than the viper and i highly doubt the corvette will be any good at trading or exploration so it will be the same at most

[[File:Heatsinklauncher_visdev01.jpg|thumb]]
{{quote|Purges ship's heat into a disposable sink block, which is then ejected. Requires ammunition.|In-Game Description}}

Heat sinks can be used to temporarily cool the ship by transferring all internally stored heat to them and then ejecting them from the ship.

Heat sinks are most commonly used in connection with [[Silent Running]] or with larger ships dumping excess heat when making multiple hyperspace jumps. Deploying a heat sink when weapons systems are overheated will also speed up the cool down process. The heat sink launchers are installed on a ship's Utility Mount and you can install more than one providing your ship has additional Utility Mounts to install them in. Each heat sink has a capacity of 3 sinks and each sink can hold approx 90-100% of the ship's maximum heat capacity. Heat sinks can be launched via a dedicated key binding or launched via the fire button of the fire group the launcher is assigned to. Hardpoints do not need to be deployed to launch a heat sink.

Note that the key bound to "launch heat sink" does not always launch a sink while in Super Cruise. To work around this, use a fire button instead (assign it to a fire group before entering supercruise select the fire group prior to entering supercruise).

If you use fire groups to launch heat sinks, make sure each launcher is bound separately. Otherwise, every sink bound to that key will launch at once, depleting ammo.
