If you look into the Guardian's history they were killed by a Civil war after they're entire race unified to built war machines to repell an EXTREMELY aggressive incursion by Thargoids, which at the time operated under a Never Surrender, Never Retreat Docturine. since then their docturine has changed from Never Surrender, Never Retreat to more of a Never Surrender, Retreat as last resort Docturine most noted by the Thargoids NEVER running from engagements, but have been observed to pull military forces from sectors that they've been unable to control. Pelabies saw this happen when we found barnicles in the Witch Head nebula. the best example of the Never Surrender, Never Retreat docturine is with the Incursion status, which can only be resolved by the complete annilation of all Thargoid forced in the Sector

The current theory (in game anyway) is that there are 2 factions to the Thargoids and one is crushing the other, the faction loseing was going to commence a retreat through human space. Hopeing to bum the winning Thargoids chase with our existence, this failed when we repelled the retreating Thargoids. since then we've opperated under a Fire at will Docturine, with each encounter's results determened by the actions taken during a encounter

Actully I find that the Conda can do 5-6 Jumps with a Long Range/Mass Manager FSD, which as another guy mentioned is completely disregarded when you account for that 7A Scoop doing 1,000 tons per second almost (900ish if your not hugging the star), the only real issue with the Conda vs others is that the Conda can do Nuetron Highway nearly as safely due to it tank, making you stop every 2-3 Nuetrons to scoop. This is balenced out though by the 80 LY jump getting a 300x boost from the Nuetrons however. Fastest Colonia Trip EVER

I would just get both, if your wanting to PvE get Enginnered Bi-Weave as the regen will beat the Prismatics period, while if your PvPing the Bi-Weave's will be annilated which is there the Prismatics are prime as the raw numbers of it's health will serve better despite it's absolute garbage regen. and if your Thargoid Hunting? ALWAYS USE BI-WEAVE, The sheer damage of Thargoids (against sheilds anyway) will drop yopur prismatics and then those will never come back (again garbage regen) while with Bi-Weave you can make them nearly as storng as prismatics without losing the regen (Thargoids, and all Thargoids weapons do pure damage similar to Plasma Accelators and Shock Cannons)
